A different apprentice system
I appreciate the photographers who help me learn and give me some advices via email or in person about nature photography. Not only they provide me with the photography tips, but also they tell me how to live and how you should act as a nature photographer in this competitive world. This is so precious thing.
Apprentice system in the realm of photography in Japan, one-on-one training system, is considered to be lost in these days. I, however, still exist in the system which was changed slightly to a different type of it. "Mentorship" in the U.S. is a similar idea as I want to talk about. So, I have several mentors whom I cannot run into the professional goals without. And, they try and test me sometimes to get me become a better photographer.
Facebook is a useful tool but it is mere a stepping stone for making a strong bond relationship with a predecessor who carries you to farther steps.
